駕駛臺航行值班報警系統(BridgeNavigationalWatchAlarmSystem)英文縮寫為BNWAS，主要功能是防止駕駛員在航行值班時不能履行值班職責而使船舶處于無人操縱的危險局面發生，當上述情況出現時，系統將產生一系列逐步延伸的報警直到引起值班駕駛員或船長及受權的值班員的注意，確保值班駕駛員履行其值班職責。
